Justin Sink reports at The Hill:
But one Nevada Democrat — Rep. Steven Horsford — is hoping the president can help him turn out the Democratic base after a late surge of Republican spending propelled challenger Cresent Hardy into contention.
Horsford’s campaign will begin airing a new ad featuring the president praising Horsford as a “tireless advocate” on their behalf, and touting his bipartisan credentials.
...
“Steven has worked with Republicans and Democrats to get laws passed — laws that created thousands of jobs right here in Nevada,” Obama continues.
...
To that point, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced Thursday it was planning to spend $360,000 on the race. Republicans are also pouring big money into the contest, with Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS buying nearly $1 million in ad time.
